My Top 5 bareMineral Products!

Hi everyone!

My first 'real' blog is going to be about my Top 5 bareMineral products of all time!

I have actually had the pleasure and the privilege of training with bareMinerals as I have been working with their products for over 3 years now and in all honesty, they are amazing!

My first product i'm going to talk to you about you may find of a standard one, but it is their Original SPF15 Foundation. I love this product so much as it is a light/medium coverage but very build-able so you can really have any amount of coverage as you wish. It is so easy to apply; I use it with a buffing brush as I like the amount of coverage it gives, as well as it is very blendable. It doesn't have a flash back either if you are going on a night out/special occasion and will be papped a lot, you can rest-assured that you won't look pale as a ghost! At £25 a pot of foundation normally lasts me about 4-5 months.

My second favourite product from bareMinerals is their Prime Time Eye Primer. This is THE best eye make-up primer I have tried, and trust me I have done my research. I have used anything from paint-pots by Mac and Maybelline, Nars eye primer and the very loveable Urban Decay Primer Potion.
I will admit, all of these are good, but there isn't a lot of hype around the bareMinerals one! It goes on beautifully whether applying it with a brush or with your fingers, it stays on all day, and I mean it! It does not budge at all. I once popped some on at about 6pm before a night out, took my make-up off at 3am (yes I am a good girl!) and I had to literally soak it off with my make-up remover! It also comes in lots of available colours too which look gorg on their own or popped under eyeshadow. I have one in the colour 'Polished Pewter' which I believe is limited edition, it is a lovely grey shade, but in this picture it is their illuminating one, which is a gorgeous champagne colour! They do have lots of different colours such as greens, pinks, golds etc. The choice is endless and affordable at £16.

My third favourite product is an all time favourite one, right from the beginning of discovering bareMinerals and it is their brozer called Warmth.
This is a beautiful product which is available to buy in their Get Started Kits, in the pot it can look a little bit dark, so for people who are pale you may be put off by the way it looks. But, it is incredible on all skin tones. You need the tiniest amount as it is very pigmented. It works great as a bronzer and for contouring as it is matte, so you won't get a disco ball effect. £19.

My fourth product is a recently new one and it is their Lash Domination Mascara. I have always sat on the fence when it comes to their older mascara's; Good, not great and nothing to rave about and at £16, you want to be fairly sure that it is going to make a good impact on your lashes, as there are some great mascara's out there (all time favourite is Maybelline The Falsies!) but this mascara claims to be a 10-in-1; Volumises, Lengthens, Thickens, Seperates, Lifts, All-Day Wear, Mineral Fortified (like all their products!) Smudge-Free, Clump-Free and Flake Free! It also has a Protwist180 wand that is exclusive to bareMinerals. It does make a difference to my lashes and actually does all of the things it says it does!

Fifth and final product is their blush in Giddy Pink. I have loved this product for a very long time, it has always been a staple in my make-up bag, as it gives you enough colour to make you look like you have a flush of colour, and looks great in any season. You may think it looks quite strong, but you just need a small amount on your brush and it gives you that beautiful glow. I forgot to say that bareMineral's products have light reflector's in them so you will always look radiant and healthy (but not shiny!) Not cheap at £19 but it will last you a very long time!

The main thing I love about the brand is that it is middle ground priced, not as high priced as YSL or Chanel, but not low priced as Maybelline or Rimmel, but the quality of the product is as good as a high brand.

I hope you all enjoyed this blog post, please let me know if you would like me to talk about a product that you are unsure of or if you have any questions - I would love to hear them.

Chow for now!
