Welcome to my blog!
My name is Kirsty and I have been in the beauty industry for 8 years. I currently own my own beauty salon which I love, in a small town in England.
My aim is to do product reviews, tips and tricks, what I like (& what I don’t!) and anything else that you request!

Fall Nail Colour guide using OPI polishes!

Well hello there!

I thought as we are very into Autumn/Winter now, and scarily getting close to Christmas (eek!) I thought I would do a post on my favourite fall nail colours from OPI. I love OPI polishes, the wear time is great, they last for about two years if not longer, and the colour range is spot on. (as well as I love the names of the colours!)
They have about 2,000 colours in the collection, they also bring out a new collection roughly six times a year so you know that what ever they bring out it will be always bang on trend.
The first ones that I'm going to start with is a mixture of my favourite Red's and Gold's then go onto the Purples, Plums & Navy's.
So, on this first hand going L-R I have; Malaga Wine, Underneath the Mistletoe, My Favourite Ornament, All Sparkly and Gold and Chick Flick Cherry...

The middle three are from the new collection by Maria Carey and I am in love with them! It's been a long time that for Christmas OPI brought out different gold's and sparkly reds. The last time I can remember was the Burlesque range about three years ago so it's about time!
I love a good ol' sparkly polish for Christmas and I think that 'All Sparkly and Gold' will be the one I'm wearing this Christmas holiday!
The other two on my pinky finger and my thumb have been firm favourites of mine for a while and I love them, even just one coat of the polishes you could get away with as they are so rich and full of colour, but here I have two coats of each polish on.
On the next hand going from L-R we have;
No Spain No Gain, Casino Royale, Road House Blue's, Mrs O'Leary's BBQ and Honk if you love OPI...

As you can see a real mixture of different ranges of plum, purple, navy and reddy-browns.
I think No Spain No Gain and Mrs O'Leary's BBQ has been discontinued which is such a shame, but I could not feature them in this post as I love them so much.
Again, as some of you may know I can't wear nail lacquer on my nails as it will just come straight off, but when I finish work on a Saturday afternoon I always put polish on them so I can enjoy it on my days off.
I think for this Saturday I'm going to pop some Road House Blue's to match the colour of my engagement ring! :)
What one is your favourite in this post & what are you wearing on your nails right now?
xx
